Startup TechDay positions itself as a Cloud meeting point for Digital Natives

The first edition of the ‘Startup TechDay’, promoted by Telefónica Empresas, Google Cloud y Altostratus, brought together dozens of professionals from the startup ecosystem including founders, CEOs, technology managers and experts in Cloud Computing.

The meeting became a tech meeting point for startup ecosystem professionals interested in keeping abreast of the latest Cloud trends. It was also an ideal scenario for knowledge exchange and networking for startups, accelerators, investment funds and representatives of the organizing companies.

During the event, there were several talks and presentations that addressed relevant topics for startups: Jorge Nogales, Customer Engineering Manager of Google Cloud, emphasized the emergence of disruptive technologies, such as generative artificial intelligence, and the importance of adopting them responsibly. José Luis Cerrada, CTO of Altostratus, highlighted the role of the partner as an early adopter of generative AI, and how we can maximize the new capabilities provided by this technology. As an example, José Luis made a live demo showing an intelligent creator of personalized assistants developed by the consulting firm.

In addition, other topics of interest were discussed, such as the acceleration of startups and the main challenges of investment in innovative deep tech projects. There was also a presentation on Telefónica’s Open Gateway initiative. On the other hand, Google For Startups presented its Google For Startups Programs proposal, in line with its mission to connect startups with the right best practices to help them grow.
